I uploaded it and everything looks beautiful, except the header is disconnected from the post content. I only changed the areas that were clearly marked as needing to be edited (so I wasn't messing with width values or anything of that nature), which leaves me very confused what is wrong. Here's the test blog I'm trying it out on so you can see what I mean: http://iwilldrawonyourface.blogspot.com/ There's that background space between the post area itself and the header, obviously an issue...any help is very appreciated as I'd love to be able to use this template in full. You'll want to copy that code block from the "div" tag to the "/div" tag. Paste it into your code above the "Author" section. Then call it "Home" and change the link code. Does that make sense?
