Remember the old days when Apple computers used to look like this? Times have changed haven’t they? For the better I must say (at least when it comes to computers). Who ever would have guessed that Apple Mac’s would have come this far and led the way in computer design? Well, if you’re feeling like turning your blog into an old Mac OS, this is the Blogger template for you.

Original theme was created by Stuart Brown It is a rendition of the monochrome Apple Mac OS from Circa System 6. Ported over to a Blogger template by Akbach.

Solipsus

This is a very uniquely designed Blogger template. It’s main colors are black, shades of brown, and blue. I’m not sure what the name Solipsus actually means but according to the template designer she was inspired by the wacky style of Adult Swim. She made sure to include the hanging head at the top of the header graphic (I’m not quite sure what that means though since I’m not a swimmer).

Minyx

Minyx is a web 2.0 feature-rich Blogger template with a search box, rss feed icon and much more. It’s a great template (but requires some customization from you to work properly) for those looking for a web 2.0 style Blogger template.

Update 1/29/08 – All images for this template are now hosted on our Photobucket Pro account which means unlimited bandwidth. For you this means the images will always work unlike most free templates you download from the internet. Most people don’t understand this until their images aren’t showing up anymore (usually at the end of the month since the bandwidth limit is monthly) and they wonder what happened!

If you downloaded this template before 1/29/08, you should download it again. Just click on the download link and you’ll get the latest version.

This is a lightweight, fixed width, 2 column Blogger template with a black and red color scheme which is very easy to customize and fast-loading. It also comes with some cool built in features like the “Add This” social bookmarking sharing widget for each post, and dynamic tab creation with a link list widget.

In order to add new tabs, you’ll need to go into Blogger edit mode and edit the tabs widget. There you can add all the new tabs you want which will automatically appear at the top of your blogger template. No messing with the .xml code with this one!

Dfire

dFire is a dark but viewable theme vying for a slightly different style. It’s got a forest burning in the background of the header while the rest of the template is mostly black. Pretty cool if you dig this darker style look and more targeted for a personal blog.

Just to let you know, all images for this Blogger template are hosted on our premium image server so you don’t need to worry about broken images (like some other sites give you). We make sure your blog doesn’t all of a sudden show you the embarrassing message of “Bandwidth limit exceeded” which is not good. Be comfortable when downloading our templates knowing that the quality is with us.

This may not be a web 2.0 three column Blogger template but it sure seems like one. It’s actually only two columns but it’s very clean and well laid out. It’s got dynamic tabs which are setup using your Blogger layout screen. Just edit the “top tabs” widget and enter all the tabs you want. The “home” tab will appear by default after you enter your first tab.

The popular “FEEDJIT” widget is also installed which shows you real-time traffic visitors to your blog. All the colors are setup so it’s ready to go. This template is AdSense ready and has been enhanced to include a 728 x 15 link unit right under the tabs. You’ll need to edit the code to change this out with your own AdSense code. There’s a couple steps to get it to match properly so please pay attention.

After you find the

tag, you’ll want to swap out the block of code below that. Before you paste in your new code you’ll need to convert it into a Blogger compiler-friendly format. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. You can use our free AdSense Blogger Code Converter tool to do this.

Here are the colors you want to setup for the AdSense unit. Border: #38454E, Links: #FFFFFF, and Background: #38454E.

If you don’t want the AdSense code in there at all, it’s easy to just rip it out. Delete everything between the header-unit div and save. Make sure you backup your template just in case you make a boo boo.
