Here’s an oldie but goodie template that was requested by several people. It’s the 4th template in the “Andreas” series and it’s a simple 3 column gem. It’s perfect for a blog that doesn’t want to be too flashy yet needs the flexibility to have many widgets in the sidebar.

This template is entirely made up of zero images (well, actually just one for the quotes) so it loads really fast. You also don’t have to worry about your images disappearing since they aren’t hosted anywhere.

The template was originally created for WordPress by Andreas Viklund and then ported over to Classic Blogger by Gecko & Fly. BlogCrowds then converted it into new Blogger xml and eBlog Templates enhanced it. Quite a bit of history which shows it’s a template that’s still in demand today.

Lonely Girl features a red headed girl wearing a black hood sitting on the ground. She’s pretty hip and would love to sit on the front page of your blog. This template is unique as it’s right aligned vs the standard left alignment for most Blogger templates.

There’s a built in Google search box which only needs minor modification before it will work with your blog.

Note: This Blogger template is only for the “Classic Template” mode and will not work with the new Blogger xml templates

My Diary

Here’s a brand new theme by Gecko and Fly called My Diary. It’s a two column WordPress theme inspired by Karen Cheng?s wordpress theme.

The idea of the theme is to be used for a personal blog and to keep your diary. It was designed with simplicity in mind and uses the Brandley Hand ITC font as standard. The uniqueness of this theme lies in its ability to display image of the specific day automatically according to the date the post is written, thus giving it a hand crafted touch to it.

The really nice part about this theme is that the author included the original Photoshop file for the header so you can customize and personalize it just for your site!

This theme requires WordPress 2.3+ so if you?re using WordPress 2.2.x, there could be a fatal error on line 16 with the tag function that only exist in WordPress 2.3 and above. Remove the code tag code in home.php and index.php and it should work fine.

This is a cute narrow one column red and white Blogger template. It’s got a nice footer which contains a bulk of the sections like search, about, previous posts, archives, etc. Template was produced by Geckoandfly.com.
