I recently discovered Technorati does not update as often as I once thought. I changed my blog title [removed …] and noticed the update was not immediately reported. It took about a week.

Have you noticed the same? It may be because of the popularity of the tagging system– but I thought it was more dynamic earlier?

Hi, you don't need to wait for the updates!

You can ask technorati to update your blog if you think your authority had increased.

Asking means……..not directly lol……..They call it PING.
go to 'technorati website' and look at the bottom,you will see an option 'Ping Us'.
Just click it and enter your blog url and you will see the changes in less than 30 minutes.

You should use http://pingomatic.com/ instead. It sends pings in different blog ping services. It will also send ping to technorati.
