What are some essential traffic generation concepts and tips?

Hello, I would like to hear what experienced bloggers consider the most essential steps of generating traffic, assuming you have content that is hopefully useful enough to build up an attention factor.

Naming some trusty, proven blog databases worth joining for would be appreciated, would keenly read input whether skilled bloggers found them an element one wants to rely on or is it better to stay away from them because of some other considerations I am currently unaware of? (Those though seem quite improbable.)

My key interest in this traffic generator matter is of indexing, too. A concept I honestly admit being very beginner of, actually, heard about that just a couple of days ago, yet made perfect, though only a delicate sense to me, since info is stupendous on the matter. Please, if someone have time and would put the effort, shed some light on this subject concerning the essential steps of being indexed on the main circulatory system of data.

If I do have a defendable concept of the concept - haha, sorry - then it seems that indexing has a lot to do with “getting found” by the Google search engine, though I recall reading something about how Blogger.com blogs are being indexed by Google automatically. Is this the case indeed?

Also, how exactly could one expect to be found in the upper registers of a search result by offering the identical keywords all over the place as 73247247234324732984 parallel blogs do? :) Also, are there indexing gravitational points on the internet you want to relate for? If there are, which are they and what requirements one needs to fulfill to get indexed by these beacons?

OMG, I see I wrote quite a long series of questions already, I am sorry if it was way too much of them. Please reply to these, all tips and naked information are greatly appreciated.

Many bloggers think that they create a blog and it will
automatically be listed in Google's search. This is not the case at all. Having an RSS feed is necessary if you want your blog to be shown in Google's Blog search engine.

Blog Search indexes blogs by their site feed, so make sure that your site feed is turned on. If your blog
isn't already listed in Google's Blog search engine, you can submit it manually. Add your blog to Google's Blog Search. http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

While it is true that you don't even need to submit your site to Google in order to be indexed, Google does invite you to submit your URL to make sure they don't miss your site. Submit your blog via Google's free submitting form. http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

When Google finds your site through an automatic crawl it follows links from other sites.

What can you do to make Google find your blog?

Get incoming links. There are sites that the search engine spiders visit many times a day and getting links on sites that search engines visit regularly is one of the keys to getting indexed quickly. It helps you climb in search engine results. Google, view links to your site as a vote.

Search engines use the number of backlinks that a blog
has as just one of the factors for determining your ranking. Incoming links to your blog also means more visitors to your blog.

Help search engines find your blog by getting a link from a site that Google Crawls on a regular bases.

Submitexpress.com will submit your blog to
40 search engines.

It usually takes a new blog about a month before
it's fully indexed by Google.

Your feed is very thorough and logical, I will follow all these leads. Thank you for this. Yet I remain totally clueless of the “RSS feed” concept __,,((oo)),,__ I am not even sure which abbreviation form it does stand for in this here blogging era. Please elaborate on this concept on a general level if you have the time while I'll follow these decent guidlines you just provided.

Blogger has an article on site feed.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.

Thanks for the RSS link. About turning the site feed on: on the Blogger.com platform, one can access a panel called “Site Feed” with a default behavior set to FULL. It means the feed is enabled and I should continue on to the next step, yes?

Now I think I got it - so RSS Feed is a way to display a hint of your blog's recent content without forcing the visitor to load the site up “blindly”, having no clue of what she/he may anticipate. Is that a correct assumption?

I followed further guidelines as well, but remained bit confused about the linking concept. So what are suggesting exactly? One should “steal” bits and bolts of recent informations from massively visited portals, pointing to their origins? Maybe I totally misunderstood this, please elaborate.

I'm telling you to get backlinks from sites that Google reg crawl. Backlinks are incoming links to a website or blog.

I did a post not long ago that included 85+ Blog directories that you can submit your Blog and RSS Feed to. It takes some time, but i have gotten some good results from the work. I suggest loading up your clipboard with the relevant information and just paste it in.
