Great post. Yeah, I have a free Wordpress blog and wasn’t too thrilled when I found out I couldn’t post ads on it OR get paid for product reviews with it. The strange thing is, PayPerPost lets you APPLY with a wordpress.com blog. They should stop you WHILE you’re applying. Instead, they allow the app to go through and you learn after all of that that you can’t do it.

Yes, you can’t post ads on a free Wordpress blog.
However, you may suggest to PayPerPost staff to pay attention to similar cases as yours. That will be helpful for many future users of this website (PPP).

FYI–The PPP setup won’t allow a person to accept an opportunity if their blog doesn’t meet the requirements. So a person with an ineligible blog won’t even be allowed to see the details of the review requirements.

be careful with PPP as they are now doing some blog assessment without clear nor defined guidelines/requirements and have disapproved a lot of blogs that were previously approved.

i signed up with payperpost 2 months ago and submit my blog. But they did not approve for the following reason; using wordpress.com platform, though i’m using my own domain. Then resubmit but still failed because of ‘chronological archive’ something. Now gave up.
Any idea to fix this?

I think your blog doesn’t meet their requirement for PageRank, at least your blog had to has PR 3 but now still PR 0. Improve your blog PageRank.
