Grungy is an artistic new Blogger template with a nice look. It’s got aqua blue and white for it’s primary colors and the icons throughout the template are somewhat smeared to give you that grunge look (hence the name of this template).
It’s a two column template with all the usual goodies like recent comments and recent posts widgets, link list, two ad spaces which come pre-installed with Text Link Ads and Niche Store. Both ads disappear once you replace the html widget with anything if you don’t want to use them.
Feel free to modify this template but all we ask is to please keep the footer links intact since the original author spent a lot of his personal time creating this template for you. Thanks to Blog Mundi for converting this nice template and providing it for free!

I LOVE this template…absolutely love it, and wish that I could make the credits bigger on it b/c it ROCKS.
I have done some tweaks of my own to it to make it a little antiquated looking, and to go with my custom header, but was wondering if I could get some pointers on how to make the paint splotches overlap on my picture like I want to? I am not a design genius, but would love to have my blog looking as custom as I’d like it.
Another thing I would like to do is make the white have a sepia overlay that I’ve used on some of the other graphics, but not sure how to do it.
Any help is greatly appreciated - and if it is to remain as it is right now, so be it. I understand people get busy!
Thanks!

@ramblin’red, first off, I’d recommend reducing the size of your header image. It’s over 500k which is huge and takes a long time to download whenever someone visits your blog. How you do it depends on the image editing software you currently use. You want to aim for no more than 100k for that sort of image.
As far as adjusting the background splotches, you should look for the “#outer-wrapper” .css element in the template code and you’ll find an image url there. You’d need to modify that image in order to widen or narrow that down.
