is_Simple Template

This new addition is a three column red and white Blogger template for those looking for a very simple look. It’s like getting an empty canvas and now it’s your chance to paint it however you want.

The right sidebars come with your standard widgets as well as some additional custom ones. eBlog Templates has added the cool real time FeedIt traffic widget, a Text Link Ad ad placeholder, and an Google AdSense placeholder which just needs your publisher id entered.

If you don’t already have an AdSense account, you should sign up for one now for free so you can start making money on your blog.

There’s also a hardcoded Google AdSense link unit put into the top area above your first post. This is a great spot to get clicks so you should update it with your own publisher id. It’s not a widget so you’ll have to edit the template code and look for the following tag “<!-- start top google ad block -->” and “<!-- end top google ad block -->“. That’s the section you can change.

You’ll notice that the code looks a little strange. That’s because it needs to be converted in order for Blogger to recognize it. Once you create your new AdSense code you can convert it using our free Ad Code Converter and then paste it into your template.

Just make the font a little larger.
In some templates it is sooo small!

Oh BTW, since I’m not a designer it is very difficult for me to change all adsense codes and affiliate IDs.
Don’t place 4-5 affliate and Adsense IDs on every template man!

Hey there, I’ve been looking for a template like this for days it seems, stellar work.

I only wish it were two column though; how hard would it be to remove one of the right hand columns?

I’ve been experimenting with the code for hours now… if have a quick solution, that would be amazing.

@The Document Diva, make sure you check the “Expand Widget Elements” checkbox in the html editor. That will show the entire template code.

Hi David, i noticed that google ads 468×60 in page show not full. How i can expand wide body post and reduce wide of sidebar? sorry my eng is bad.

Not related to this template but.. how come when I try to access your site through:

http://eblogtemplates.com

I get this:

Moved Permanently

The document has moved here.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and the linked text in “here” is still “http://eblogtemplates.com”, which brings me back to the error lol.

http://www.eblogtemplates.com works fine though.

Just saying. And maybe it’s me? Using latest firefox version.

I really luv this template. But when i put the code,an error msg appears: Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The document type declaration for root element type “html” must end with ‘>’.

What’s wrong??? Please help…… thx.

ps. i’ve checked the ‘expand widgets template’.

Hey.

How are you guys getting this to upload to blogspot? Everytime I load it and upload I am given the:

“We’re sorry, but we were unable to complete your request.

When reporting this error to Blogger Support or on the Blogger Help Group, please:

* Describe what you were doing when you got this error.
* Provide the following error code and additional information.

bX-bliced”

Nothing was changed of your downloaded file. Any advice/help?

can’t open this file on my computer,ugh! really need 3 column blog if look at my blog would se what i mean..help welcome,could add your link in exchange. also not sure how to add description,keywords and meta tags corectly to the html as not up on html that much. thanks!

Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.

I’m trying to hook up wellpreparedrare.com to a blog template. I registered the website at 1and1.com. I am trying to upload the is_Simple template offered on this website. When I open the saved file is_simple-blogger.xml, I’m sent to a Windows Explorer page that says that it can’t read the xml document. What reader should I upload to that I can open the xml file? Will this work with the website I want to use?

I’ve got a problem’s like this;
