Yeah, I will upgrade at some point but hope someone releases a plugin to change the fixed alignment issue. Thanks for the link. The smiley faces is a plugin called WP Grins written by Alex King.

is hard for me to tell you about specific features that I like from wordpress since it is loaded with too many good things.

I upgraded my old wordpress to 2.5 and the upgrade process is smooth and it just works. hope you update soon and discover the new features on your own.

btw, do you know what are the codes for the included default smiley faces?

your complaints are personal. once you get used to it, you going to like it a lot more, the options(settings) are better arranged. I like it a lot more.
