Revolution Lifestyle Blogger Template

After creating the coolest premium Blogger template, Revolution Church, we decided to also convert the Revolution Lifestyle theme as well! Now you can choose between two of the coolest premium Blogger templates available today.

Not only has eBlog Templates ported this over to Blogger, we’ve added some great features to really turbo-charge and make this another great premium Blogger template.

This is the second premium Blogger template we’ve released that is virtually plug and play. No images to host or have to worry about the links breaking after a few months. No mucking with the template code to change colors, add tabs, modify AdSense code, etc. We’ve designed this template with the ease of usability in mind so Bloggers of all levels can utilize the full power of this premium template. Not only do you get this amazing template but you also get the full installation video series which walks you through configuring every gadget step-by-step.

Don’t be fooled by those free Lifestyle Revolution templates that are poorly converted to blogger. They might look nice from their demo but those templates usually require you to make all the changes within the code and stop working properly after a few months. They also don’t include a step-by-step video series.

You don’t have to take our word for it though. Here’s what just a few of our many satisfied buyers had to say after purchasing and using this template:

“I absolutely LOVE this template!”Kristy
“Great job! Well worth the cost!”Lydia

Ready to turn your blog into a masterpiece? Check out the live demo or buy this premium Blogger template now!

Important – Please Read Before Purchasing

This template does NOT work with the older Blogger Classic layout. Please make sure you are NOT using Classic layout before purchasing this template. Most bloggers are now using the newer layout so you most likely don’t need to worry. Also, eBlog Templates is not the original designer of this template. It was originally designed by WordPress theme mastermind, Brian Gardner. We have spoken directly with Brian and with his approval, have converted it to Blogger and made it available for sale. If you are a WordPress user, you can download his theme for free without any support (only works on WordPress not Blogger).

So why do I have to pay for this template then?

The cost of this template covers the many days of labor and effort put into converting this amazing design into a premium Blogger template as well as building the step-by-step video series. Your purchase does include the complete instructional “how to install and configure” the Revolution Lifestyle Blogger template video series. If you think about it, it’s actually a small price to pay for such a functional, advanced, and professional Blogger template. Buy this premium Blogger template now!

Refund Policies

Since this is a digital product there are no refunds after payment has been made. Please make 100% sure you want this template before making the purchase. You also need to be willing to spend 30-60 minutes configuring the template before it looks like the live demo. Our free video installation series will make it easy. We want you to be successful!

Since we can’t test every single Blogger gadget (including 3rd party gadgets) we can’t promise they will all work with this template. Every blog is different and some of your existing gadgets might not be compatible which means either the gadget will need to be removed or modified accordingly. We do provide community-level support which means posting your questions as comments. The installation videos that accompany this template are designed for skills of all levels.

Tami, to move the larger right side widgets drag them ALL down as if you’re placing them with the small widgets below. THEN move them back up one by one making sure to drag the one you want on the bottom up first…and so on. The gadget you want at the top should be moved up last.

I must say your premium templates are out of this world. Will give it a try.

Tami on Apr 18, 2009, 11:45 am

Thanks Mary for the tip, I’ll try that. Perhaps that will unstick them.

Does anyone know how to change the comment footer color from gray to white? I’ve looked through the code, changed some here and there, but never found the right code — it’s still gray. This is the hard part about buying someone’s template. They know the ins and outs of it, but we are left not knowing where things are.

Thanks again Mary.

Tami, Have you considered purchasing another template or perhaps coding your own? This is a fabulous template but it seems like it’s just not working for you. I’d even suggest maybe hiring someone to do a custom template. It may be a bit pricier but if you want to control every aspect of it…you may have to. I think that’s about the only option if you’re looking for perfection. I commend David for giving amazing customer service thus far. You need to keep in mind that in order to alter *any* template you need knowledge of the coding. This template was only $20… we can expect it’s creators to walk us through every single aspect of altering it.

I meant CAN’T expect us.

Just downloaded the template and have followed your video instructions with now problem. When I go to upload the file to blogger, I am getting this
error
XML error message: Element type “input” must be followed by either attribute specifications, “>” or “/>”

I don’t know what could be wrong. Please advise!

Thanks,
Evelyn

David on Apr 23, 2009, 8:40 am

Hi EvelynP, It sounds like you accidentally removed a bracket (> or <) from the code. Go back to your original template file and re-upload that to correct the problem. You’ll then likely have to go through the video instructions again and just be extra careful when making changes. After each change I make, I usually upload the template just to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. Then continue step by step until everything is working correctly. Good luck!

Hi David/Community –
Just discovered your great site, which is very highly touted in the ‘Google Blogger for Dummies’ book by Susan Gunelius by which I just got. Anyway, my basic question is this: are either of the custom templates shown here sufficiently “customizable” so that I can create a basic music “website” to market my own CD’s and mp3’s?

There do exist specialty sites like Hostbaby and Bandzoogle and the paid version of ReverbNation with built in “wizards” but I am wondering if a decent Blogger template exists so that one can create a basic site for marketing one’s music. Once I have the basic template, I can add various widgets, custom pages, etc. For example, ReverbNation has a free mp3 player widget where one can install clips or entire songs and then just paste the code into one’s site (which links to the ReverbNation site of course where the origial mp3’s are residing.) Do you or do any Community members have any suggestions and know of a decent eBlog Templates template that would be a good place to start for creating a music/band web site?

Please excuse the fact that I’m a newbie to blogging templates – but it appears that with the proper template and the right types of custom widgets that any type of site is possible – or am I completely wrong about this?

Thanks – Derek

David, I can not for the life of me get the date to show up on each of my blog posts. I’ve tried changing it around but nothing works. Help?

Hi,
Just go to your blog layout template, on blog posts click edit and from the edit menu go to the “AT” tab, pick you date format scroll down hit save and voila you’re done. Good luck

I’ve tried that. Still not working.

Tami on May 2, 2009, 10:42 pm

Tom, I’m perfectly aware of the need to know coding and that was not my question precisely. I don’t really need you to scold me when I’m simply waiting for the author to respond to my question, so thanks.

David, I’m sorry if I’m bothering you, but I’m still waiting for your reply to my post last month. I’ve tried in all the areas I think represents the gray footer, to no avail, it remains gray. Where would I change the gray footer color to white? That’s all I’m asking. I don’t need the hex number or anything, just the where.

Thank you David for your time. I do realize you have a job and do this in your spare time. I’ve been patient, as I asked this a long time ago, and still haven’t had a reply from you. Tom maybe, but not from the person who can help me.

Thank you much.

David on May 6, 2009, 5:03 pm

Tami, I just looked at your site and it looks like you’ve changed the grey color to greenish. Sounds like you’ve figured it out.

David on May 6, 2009, 5:21 pm

Hi Derek, thanks for stopping by eBlogTemplates and I’m glad you heard about us in the new dummies book! Most blogger templates that you download including this Revolution Lifestyle template can add any number of widgets that you want. It uses the Blogger widgets so whatever you find available there, works with our templates. Now if you are serious about building a solid band site, I would recommend using one of the specialty sites that you mentioned because they are more targeted for exactly what you want. They might cost a little bit more but if you build one of those sites out, create a myspace & facebook profile for your band, you’ll start to get a better online presence.

Blogger is a great blogging platform but can be limited when you want to setup highly specific sites like a band site. Good luck and thanks again for note.

Tami on May 7, 2009, 7:50 am

Hi David,
I don’t want to sound rude, but I wouldn’t keep post this same question if I had it worked out. I don’t know what you mean about the color of the footer looking green. I’m trying to make it white like I’ve said. I need to know where to change this. Is the footer in your photobucket? I played around but was unable to remove the gray, and now on your screen it looks green? This is not .good at all. Please simply tell me where to change the coding or how to remove the photobucket image. Thank you David.

I had success with the download and application of this template. However, when I get to the point of adding feeds under recent posts the popup window does not give me a space to input the copied link location. The popup window for the gadget looks to be disabled..with no option to input or delete.
Please help!
Thanks.

I have this template for blogger that was converted by someone else. I love this template and have it completely tweaked for my site. The problem is that it freeze up Internet Explorer for I have lost a lot of visitors and revenue over the last 2 weeks.

I am considering switching to yours but I need to know if it is compatible with IE. The message they get is that there is a script that is running that is making IE extremely slow and it freezes up. They can’t even reload. This started happening 2 weeks ago when I got massive amounts of traffic from an article I was featured in.

Please reply or email if you think it will work for me. I need help quickly as I am losing money everyday it freezes up.

David,

What has happened with color setting of the Top Tab? Right now it is green text on dark grey background so it is very hard to see the link.

David on Jun 9, 2009, 9:56 pm

For some reason Photobucket is having problems serving up images for all templates on this site. I’ve contacted them directly and it should be resolved soon.

@Martin, that’s why you can’t see the top tabs right now. If you move all the images to your own image hosting site (photobucket is free) then you won’t have to rely on our images (which have never been a problem up until today.

Thanks,

David
