A green tree sitting all alone in a grassy field is what you get with the Serenity template. It’s a simple yet relaxing template that can be used for almost any blog idea.

This is a two column XML layout designed for use with the newest version of Blogger. It’s a fixed width and will fit perfectly on an 800×600 screen size and also works on wider screens as well. It has a permanent RSS Feed link in the heading.

To install just download the .zip file and unpack it, then copy and paste the contents into your HTML editor. This theme is ready to go!

The images are already hosted via Photobucket, no need to download those separately!

Hey, great site! Wondering if it’s possible to change the blue in the background? Thanks!!!

Nikki, you’ll need to edit the template code to change the blue background. The only problem is the header and footer images have blue corners so it wouldn’t look good unless you updated those images as well.

If you decide to try and change the color, just search the template code for #70aada and change it to another color code.

Hey, my dates and times for postings are coming up as “undefined” Any help?

David on Apr 13, 2008, 7:12 pm

@Christian, You’ll need to make one small change in your “Settings” => “Formatting” => “Timestamp Format” section before it will work. Change whatever you currently have to this format: “Sunday, April 13, 2008″ and then save. Make sure you change the “Timestamp Format” which is the 4th one down.

I have tried to use your templates but i just get an error from blogger. Is this a global thing with your templates or just me??

I was getting undefined for the date; used your fix and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the help.

Very nice template. Apply it already. But, there’s a problem (very much the same with passionduo template); I can’t make the comments attached below the post. I have to choose the comments’ setting to come up in new window to make it works. Anyway I can change this default? Thanks before.

Could you tell me where I need to go to change the heading of each post color?

The tone on tone is hard to see when a new post starts. LOVE this template though!

Thank you!!
