@beachbum, yes you can edit the template and replace the adsense id with yours. Lots of free templates include the adsense ads as a placeholder. Good luck!

I have looked at a number of free templates and it has come to my attention that they all include several google ads. Can these ads be removed and replace with a set of google ads that would give my Adsense account credit for hits or in return for using a free template does one need to keep these google ads that come with each of your templates?

Zen, I believe the background is a stretched image so you’d have to recolor the image and then point to it instead in the css. Basically all the color setting are in the css so try changing those colors. I also recommend downloading the Firebug firefox plugin. It allows you to change and edit colors on the fly. Good luck!

two columns and a wide one
but i cant change the colors

i want to change white background and the sidebars colors try with colorzilla but the color that gives me the picker i cant find it with crtl + f option.
