Anyway, is there a way to replace the Header with a logo(image) ? Cos when I tried the banner shifted to the left making the right side empty. I wanna use a logo instead of a text.

How do I make the post date to come out?

I’ve tried every possible option in blogger has given on the edit blog post page element but nothing works. I also tried different combinations of removing and putting elements within the post but still nada.

Can you help me figure out how I can make the post date to appear?

There seems to be a major issue with this template. The post heading is invisble, untill you put the mouse over it. Similar with the posts, they also sometimes become invisible untill you put your mouse over it, David please help.

I have been using this template and i am sorry to say this template is bad. There is some major error in the template coding. I have written about the problem here but David seems to have completely ignored it. Posts title just wont show at times, i was waiting for David to help but it doesnt seem likely, so i am changing my template. Next time i will try the template before going ahead with it, as this template has caused severe inconvenience to me, i will have to setup the new template from scratch, which is not a easy task in the first place.

Please visit my blog, the heading of the post disappers till you put the mouse over it. In short the post heading doesnt gets displayed.

If your copying pasting make sure you tick the expand widget box, then error wont come.

its a GREAT template, some issues at first but nothing imposible. Do you think theres a way we can a dd a footer section ??? its is just a nice template all the way ,but in my opion the footer part seems a little empty, i would LOVE a 3 column footer section.

I really like this simple template and would love to use it in my blog, but I just looked it up in that “Web page analyser” tool and it shows one error :
1 ERROR HTTP CODE:
405 Iframe #1 [Some Big URL]

Thing is the template I am using now shows the same error (which is why I’m looking for another one). Could you tell what error is this and is it anything serious (apparently not, because both my blog and this template’s demo blog open smoothly in all major browsers).

I can’t find where to remove the html code for the top banner?

Major Problem 2. The top banner is not displayed correctly. Instead of aligning to the right it is displated to the left, just under the blog title.

However these errors are not displayed when I use Firefox.

David please please help.

Krish there is another error, if you write a post with the image to the left then the content to the right of the image wont be displayed.

Hi, as SoccerVision said before, I would also like to change the width of the template. I went to the html tab and looked for the with and everything but i cant find it. Its too confusing. What i want to do is change the width of the main wrapper to make it smaller and make the sidebar bigger. An example of this is this Ads Theme template

Okay, this template isn’t working. I downloaded it and it gave me one file with extension xtml and that file was a garbled mess of code.

What exactly am I supposed to be doing with the file after downloading?

I have used blogger templates but they were easy and had instructions on installing. I have also been doing my own html on Blogger for about 4 years. I can’t make sense of how the downloads work here though. New to the site as you can tell.

I should have added that the problem is when I unzip the file. It defaults to unzip in IE and I get this message:

I then tried to copy and past the directory to Flock which is what I use and at it showed part of the template but all jumbled and most missing.

Well, this is interesting. I sent myself the zip file and opened on an old computer with a way outdated operating system and Windows IE 5.5.

I installed the zip to my drive and when I opened it, it came up in Windows IE 5.5 fine, with all the template code.

Don’t know why it won’t open in the newest versions of various browsers (Firefox, Flock, IE) but that is an FYI for you. I am on XP on this computer. So, I will give it a try and report back how it goes. Thanks.

Just unzip the file and go to layout, edit html, upload a template, browse select your file and the new template will work.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work. When I upzipped it, kept getting code that became jibberish on the upload into Blogger, so the template didn’t work. Then I tried other templates and the same thing. Tried it on two different computers with different operating systems and even different unzip programs.

I finally saved it as a different file name and in a different area and I think it is working now.

i downloaded the templated and used it for my blog.but,when i replace the ads section with my ad code from adsense,the ads are not showing up.Genrally the codes will show up instantly.
I saw ur way of putting ads thr..U were using a tiny url link and an image link…is that the only way or just a copy-paste of the adsense code should work.

I am tweaking this template for my two blogs. I encountered some error but I handled it except this header banner and the main ads. I really had trouble trying to fixed it. My ads simply don’t show up when I changed it. I waited 10 and more minutes for my ads to display but nothing. Does anyone here have the same experience? How did you solve it. Please help.
